Embroidery Process

Embroidered logoIf you have never ordered embroidery from us before, here is an overview of what you can expect during the process of fulfilling your order.

Preparation of the file to be embroidered. If you do not already have the file digitized for embroidery (most new customers don’t), we will first need to see your art. To do that we need to have a jpg copy of the art you wish to convert into embroidery. This could be a company logo, favorite graphic, or text.

In some cases people have an idea but don’t have art. We have lots of pre-digitized embroidery clip art as well as websites with additional choices. You may need to have some art specifically designed to meet your needs, and we can help with that, too.

Digitizing. We will send your jpg to a skilled professional digitizer. This is a very important step to achieve quality results. You would pay a one-time-only digitizing fee for this step. You would be good to go for any future orders using that file assuming you don’t wish to change your graphic in a way that would require re-digitizing

Identify items you wish to have embroidered. Next we need to know what product(s) you want the embroidery to appear on, such as t-shirts, polo shirts, vests, jackets, totes, bags, whatever. We have online catalogs, print catalogs, and over 12 years of experience to help guide your choices. We will need to know style numbers, fabric color, sizes, and quantities. Naturally we can assist you in product selection. You can benefit from our years of experience with these products.

We also embroider on products you have purchased elsewhere. However, if you have not made the purchase yet, contact us. We may be able to beat store prices on the same item, including sale items, or get you better quality garments at the same price.

Price quotes. There are so many variables in embroidery that we need all the data about your intended order before we can provide an accurate price quote.

Order placement. When we receive your final decision on what you want to order, we place the order with our suppliers. This may require a deposit from you. We will also ask about the delivery method to you and the mode of payment you wish to use. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Sample stitch-out. Once the digitizer sends us your digitized embroidery file, we set up and run a sample stitch-out based on the colors in the jpg you submitted or other instructions you provided. If you are local you can drop by and see the sample in person. We can also take a close-up photo of the sample stitch-out and email it to you. If you need any tweaks, we work with you until you are satisfied with the results.

We require final approval before we proceed. Some of our customers require a boss or a committee to give the final go-ahead. Note that this often adds time to the production schedule.

Scheduling. We fully communicate beforehand the anticipated time product delivery to us will take and how long production will be. We also factor in delivery time to you.

Production. When we get your final approval and the products have been delivered to us for embroidery, we proceed with the stitching. We are very time-conscious and definitely schedule our production to meet your deadline.

Delivery to you. When your order is complete, we attend to delivery in the manner previously decided upon.

Follow-up. We like to know that you are satisfied with your order. When you look good, we look good.
